North Otago Junior Aviators

Do you have an interest is Aviation? 

The North Otago Junior Aviators is a program providing a safe and fun environment for aviation enthusiasts who are currently in highchool. Joining this group means you will be surrounded by like-minded people and have the opportunity to experience all things aviation related, from flying to field trips to club activity days.

Whether you want to fly for a hobby or turn it into a career our program is your first step towards your goals. 

We endeavour to keep this program as low cost as possible. There is a $25 sign up fee and membership to the Aero Club. Fundraising activities and scholarships reduce the costs of our activities.

Junior Aviators:

• Get to go flying

• Participate in club events

• Learn about Weather, Navigation, Aerodynamics and Aircraft

• Visit industry employers

• Go on field trips to Air Traffic Controller , Museums, Maintenance Facilities and more

• Explore opportunities in the aviation industry

Our qualified instructors recognise the duty of care given to the club and will only allow the best pilots and role models to fly with and supervise the Junior Aviators.
